Have you been badgered into an impulse buy because your child recognises a TV character on the cover? Have you quickly spotted a title with a train (plane, automobile) on the front that you assumed would be perfect? We have all done it.
There is nothing more frustrating than returning home and finding the book is inappropriate for your child’s age, has nothing to do with the cover illustration or is actually just a collection of still-frame images from a TV show and not much more!

Happy to! If you are local (St Albans area), we can offer book parties where you invite some pals either for a coffee morning or an evening party and we bring along appropriate selections for you and your guests. You earn free and discounted books against your party total.
If you are NOT local, you drop us a line, via whichever method suits you and tell us what you are looking for – age related, topic related, maybe an area your child is finding challenging and we make suitable suggestions. A bit like a Fairy Book Mother!
If you know of friends who are also looking for some recommendations you can become a “Bookworm” and earn the same hostess benefits as a party, but online!

I am organising our school’s Christmas Bazaar and would love to chat to you about the possibility of setting a book stall up at it. The bazaar wil be held on Sat 3rd December from 2-4pm at Beech Hyde Primary School, Wheathampstead. We are looking for a stall that would bring extra ideas to our own stalls, and a book stall would be a great addition.
Our charity organsiation raises money at the bazaar with all proceeds going back to the school to help fund school projects such as the recent library renovation. All we would ask is £10 donation to the school to pitch the stall at the bazaar.
